The Honda City is a brand name which is famous and which established Honda in India. The new Honda City is now much longer and wider than before as the City is now the biggest car in its class. In terms of looks the new Honda City gets sharp LED headlamps with brilliant detailing while the grille has chrome too. It has sculpted sides with new 16inch alloys. The rear also gets a new look with rear LED tail-lamps. In terms of dimensions the new Honda City is 4,549mm in length, 1,748mm in width and 1,489mm in height.

The interior of the new Honda City has been changed as it now gets a more luxurious cabin. Quality has gone up and it feels more premium. You will notice a new design for the centre console and the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster is neat and gets a part digital lay-out with one dial having a lot of information. The centre console has physical buttons for the climate control in-place of a touch panel in the old City which is useful. The Honda City now has a 8inch touchscreen too. There are more features now also with all connectivity options there plus a sunroof, rear view camera plus the lane-watch feature, climate control, rear ac vents etc. It is also a connected car now with Honda Connect and also it is the first car to have Alexa remote. The new Honda City gets a pair of diesel plus petrol engines while only the petrol gets a CVT automatic. The new Honda City with the petrol is very refined and offers smoothness. It is comfortable with an excellent ride while the CVT automatic makes driving effortless. It handles better also over the old City and feels more stable on the highway.
HONDA NEW CITY ENGINE
The New Honda City petrol gets a new 1.5l engine which makes 121 bhp and 145Nm. There is also a diesel 1.5l engine which makes 100 bhp and 200Nm. The petrol has a 6-speed manual plus a CVT auto while the diesel is manual only with also 6-speeds. The new City petrol manual gives 17.8 kmpl while the CVT gives 18.4 kmpl. The diesel gives 24.1 kmpl.

The new City has a 5-star Asean NCAP rating while it also has 6 airbags. There is ABS with EBD, VSA (vehicle stability assist), HSA (hill start assist) plus AHA (agile handling assist). There is also a speed warning and emergency stop signal etc.
